The owner of a notorious Nevada brothel is bizarrely blaming state officials — and the Kardashians — for a wildfire that engulfed his $2 million mansion Friday,TMZ Sports reports.
Dennis Hof, who owns the Love Ranch South brothel in Pahrump, made headlines last year when NBA star Lamar Odom overdosed at his sex den after partying hard for days with prostitutes and drugs.
Family members feared for the former Los Angeles Lakers baller’s life, but he awoke after a three day coma and has since reunited with his wife, Khloe Kardashian, who has accused Hof of using her hubby’s scandalous brothel visit for publicity.
Hof jumped on Twitter Friday afternoon after neighbors told him his luxurious mansion outside Carson City had burnt to the ground. He raced over to find that the rumors were true.
“My amazing mountain home after the controlled burn THANKS TO THE STATE OF NEVADA,” Hof captioned a photo of his incinerated three-story palace, insinuating that state officials had purposely sparked the fire.
But the Nevada Division of Forestry was still investigating the blaze Friday afternoon and could not immediately confirm a cause. The wildfire had consumed 19 structures by dusk and some 365 firefighters were deployed to the area, according to officials.
Hof, who is running for local office as a Libertarian, speculated the Kardashians might have had a finger in the blaze.
