Check It Out: President Obama Gives Jay-Z Parenting Advice
By now everyone knows that President Obama and Michelle Obama have gotten pretty cozy with Jay-Z and Beyonce. About a month ago, Jay-Z and Beyonce hosted a fundraiser for President Obama, but who knew Obama was giving Jay-Z parenting advice?
During an interview with a Cleveland radio show, President Obama discussed the friendship between the two couples.
“They’re obviously unbelievably successful, but they really are down-to-earth folks,” said the President. “We talk about the same things I talk about with all my friends. We talk about kids, you know, they just had a new baby.”
President Obama also said he’s offered new father Jay-Z some parenting advice.
“I made sure Jay Z was helping Beyonce out, and not leaving it all with mom and the mother-in-law,” he said, adding “Beyoncé could not be sweeter to Michelle and the girls.”
At the September fundraiser at Jay-Z’s 40/40 Club, the POTUS said, “Let me just begin by saying to Jay and Bey, thank you so much for your friendship. We are so grateful. Michelle and Malia and Sasha are mad at me because they are not here. ..That doesn’t usually happen. Usually they’re like, we’re glad you’re going–we don’t need to go. But every time they get a chance to see these two they are thrilled, partly because they are just both so generous, particularly to my kids. And Malia and Sasha just love both of them.”
Apparently the two families are becoming bosom buddies.
